This year, the Westfield Youth Assistance Program IGC#15509 will be selling reverse raffle tickets for the chance to win a 2025 Cadillac CT5 two-year lease courtesy of Chariot Automotive Group!

Raffle tickets are $150 each  + $5 processing fee and only 200 will be sold, greatly increasing your chances of winning. Raffle tickets can only be purchased the evening of the event, so make plans to attend the Mayor’s Grand Gala. The grand prize is a two-year lease on a 2025 Cadillac CT5.

OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE GRAND GALA REVERSE RAFFLE  

Unlike a typical raffle, in a Reverse Raffle the purchaser of the last ticket drawn wins the Grand Prize. Proceeds go to the Westfield Youth Assistance Program.

By entering this raffle, entrants accept and agree (1) to be bound by all the rules, limitations and restrictions set forth here and (2) that their names and/or likenesses may be disclosed to and used by the news media and may otherwise be used by the Westfield Youth Assistance Program, the City of Westfield, and the Advancing Westfield Foundation for publicity purposes and in lists of prize winners to be published in area newspapers and announced on the respective websites. Ticket cost is $150.00 each + $5 for processing fees. Purchases of multiple tickets by the same person is allowed. 

 

A maximum of 200 tickets will be sold.

 

You must be 18 years or older to purchase a ticket.

 

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

 

Finalists and runners-up must be present to win.

 

Runners-up 2nd – 10th place will each receive a gift card or prize of like value between $50 - $100.

 

Gross proceeds are defined as the total number of tickets sold at $150.00 per ticket.

 

Winners are subject to all raffle procedures, restrictions, rules, directives, state and local laws and regulations. The odds of winning are dependent on the number of valid entries.

 

A ticket is considered purchased when complete payment ($155.00) has been made with credit or debit card with Westfield Youth Assistance Program volunteers. No cash or checks will be accepted.

 

Board members of the Westfield Youth Assistance Program, Grand Gala Committee members, and Board members of the Advancing Westfield Foundation are not eligible to participate in the Reverse Raffle.

 

Ticket sales will occur on-site only at The Mayor’s Grand Gala and will start on October 5, 2024 at 6 p.m. Anyone in line to buy a raffle ticket by 7:30 p.m. will be allowed to purchase tickets, unless all 200 tickets have been sold prior.

Interval Drawings: Interval Drawings will be held throughout the evening. 50% of the tickets sold, rounding up if there is an odd number, will be drawn and presented in the designated location starting no earlier than 8:00 p.m.  

90% of the remaining tickets will be drawn and presented in the designated location no later than 9:00 p.m.  

The remaining tickets will be drawn and presented at the main stage starting at 9:15 p.m. until there are three tickets left.  

 

The Finalists: The final three ticket holders must agree to provide their contact information in the event that the finalist does not qualify for the lease. Finalists must be present to win.

 

Grand Prize Winner: The final remaining Ticket Holder will receive the Grand Prize of a two-year lease on a 2025 Cadillac CT5.  The winner must be credit approved by GM Financial for the lease and insure the vehicle with both liability and physical damage policies according to lease requirements.  Chariot Automotive Group will pay the 24-month lease payments and upfront taxes and fees associated with the lease. Taxes: Winner agrees that he/she is solely responsible for any and all taxes due on the awards. The Prize winner of the Car shall assume all fees, local, state and federal taxes, sales tax, (with the exception of those listed above) as well as insurance proof of which must be provided prior to delivery. Westfield Youth Assistance Program (WYAP) takes no responsibility for any tax liabilities or costs. WYAP makes no guarantee that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will accept that value of the car for the purpose of determining any income tax that may be due from the winner. Consult your tax advisor.  

 

In the event of a dispute, the current WYAP Board President or designee will rule.
